Derek Charm is an Eisner Award winning comic artist, illustrator, and character designer for animation. He is the artist and writer of the graphic novel Toxic Summer (Oni Press) and the artist on the kids graphic novels Speed Racer Adventures (Papercutz) and The Mystery of the Meanest Teacher (DC Kids). Other comics work includes lengthy runs on Jughead (Archie Comics), The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (Marvel) and Star Wars Adventures (IDW). Outside of comics he has done illustration and design work for Marc Jacobs, Pepsi, and DreamWorks Animation. He currently works as a Character Designer on Batman: Caped Crusader for Warner Bros Animation.
